I adopted a one-year-old Russian blue this past Saturday and I pick her up Monday, I can't wait

I believe I had a Russian Blue, her eyes were a blue-green, blue in the center, and the sheen of her coat and her form wasn't like most cats around this area, she lived to be very old, the smartest cat, I ever had. She minded me and came when called. I caught her going onto my neighbor's lawn and I shamed her, and in her 20 years, I never caught her on the neighbor's lawn again. She was a great hunter, and never had a rodent problem, until after her death. I really didn't realize what a treasure she was for this place.
She was not a companion type, she was with me wherever I was working, but she never rubbed up against my legs like other cats, that is a plus as my balance isn't good.
She never jumped on the bed or needed cuddling until her final days, she wanted to be held.
Her nature was independent like mine, so we got along better than any other cat I had.
So smart, just an amazing cat. Died 15 years ago and still miss her spirit.

Very informative video (although the manner and tone of the narration makes one think that instructions are being given for the purchase and handling of a military anti-aircraft system).

A Russian Blue cat showed up at my house one day and lived on my deck and I fed her-I took her to the vet and decided to keep her- no one claimed her. She loves me so much and gets along really well with my Border Collie. She is a great cat, but very ornery.

Our Russian Blue was given to our daughter and when she moved out she left it with us. When you get her in the right light you can see slightly darker rings of fir going all up her tail like a Lemur' We do let our cat go outside but she is the one that roams the least. Doesn't really leave our property. What she does like to do is to go and roll on the driveway, almost like a dirt bath or something. She also like to bring us little gifts, usually a small piece of trash she found outside. We praise her for being a good kitty picking up garbage.

I got my boy unexpectedly for free as a gift from my former neighbor as a thank u for helping her family in times of need! My other two boys ended up as homeless they were purebred! I also got them for free and the vet thinks my luck odd! I believe each cat who passes directs me to my next feline baby!

My Luna Bella is a mix, she has white mittens, white socks, white under her chin and on her neck, and piercing gold eyes ❤

I had a Russian Blue cat ("Natasha") for 15 years. I can't think of ONE "con" about owning her. She would follow me everywhere and if I was in a room she would sit on a chair/bed and watch me (almost as if she was "guarding" me). When I took a bath she would sit on the bathroom sink and watch me as if she was afraid I might drown and cry out hysterically if I put my head under the water and made "bubbling" sounds. She loved to sit by the windowsill when the sun came out and groom herself (as long as I was in the room).

We have 2 brothers that just showed up on our porch one night. We took them in, they must have been at least 3-4 months old. No idea what kind they are. Took to vet for spaying and shots. They are so smart, we have to lock doors and tape cabinet doors shut. Mine are extremely vocal and clingy. Vet said he was positive they are Russian Blues. They are beautiful and loving. But, they are overweight and food oriented. They are really good hunters too. Mine are not outside cats as we have foxes and coyotes. This video is so informative!

RB's are the smartest and gentleist cat. Beautiful, loyal, loving, calm, and quiet. Never scratches and minimal shedding.

I adopted a kitten from someone that found him. Feral they said and a tiny baby. They had a nursing mother and that cat took to MARVEL. We have him now and he is 8 months old and my dearest and best buddy. He sleeps with me, usually on my head. It's funny, he is magnificent, such a sweet soul yet very shy. He protects me at night when sleeping but likes to be left alone during the day. He wont let me kiss him. I do love him, he is an enigma. Beautiful BIG fellow and constantly grooms himself. He puked up his 1st hairball yesterday. I was so worried as he convulsed but it was OK, he know what he is doing. Big appetite too. He has learnt about 15 words. I keep them to one callable 2 at max. He loves the words "BRUSH" and "FOOD" 😻 He loves being brushed the prince 😂🥰

I have a one year old Russian blue named Luna Bella ❤, She loves to sit in the window. But in the morning she will bounce, pounce, on the bed while being very vocal wanting you up!! About 6 am every day she wants her food!!

I was lucky to get my Russian Blue for $60 at PetSmart. Her name is Iris. She doesn't have papers, but vets and others have looked at her and said she's at least 90% pure. She has the double coat, build, and personality of the breed. I tried to find out where she came from. ASPCA told me she was found as a kitten loose in a rich neighborhood. She's been spayed and microchipped. She loves to lay in the bed beside you. Very little shedding, once more symptoms of the breed. She doesn't have the black-tipped fur. It's metallic grey throughout. Also not very destructive, unlike the domestic shorthair. I love my cat! 😺

Great video! The only thing I would say is that the price of pure bred Russian Blue is much more than stated, at least from what I have researched, and I have got quotes from almost 10-12 breeders around the country. They must be worth it and can’t wait to get mine in July 🎉

Good video. Hate the use of computer voice. This was a good one but timing is still off.

RB's have green eyes and quite specific features. Most cats in this video are DSH.

My RB likes to go outside and hunt. He also follows me and my dog around when I bring him out side. Does the same to my wife when she walks the dog early morning
