Things like this is why I tell people "Floor time is not just for children. EVERYBODY needs floor time!"

Disclaimer for people with back pain because of hypermobility:
stretching can often cause more problems (as I learned with my first two PTs who didn’t know what they were doing), for us it’s all about muscles really because our connective tissue (fascia, tendons, ligaments, etc) are already too loose to hold us together so it’s up to our muscles to take over and you need to strengthen the right muscles before you stretch out the ones currently trying to hold you together in the wrong position
so consult with someone specialized in hypermobility first if you can, it makes a ton of difference

I just learned a few years ago about opening up the hip flexors to ease the lower back. Total game changer. And great filming and editing 👌 all those filming angles pay off

Wow this is super dope! I will definitely give this regimen a shot. I’m not in a chair but you hit the nail on the head with my lower back pain and how that has made my hips shift. Definitely need to strengthen my glutes as well lol. Great video man. Thank you. And keep going bro!

Love the info! I recently discovered that our pelvic floor is HUGE when it comes to pain around our back, adductors and hip flexors. So much to think about when it comes to our bodies and trying to become a little bit more pain free. Keep rockin ! 🤙🏽

Wow. great tips! Even as an able bodied person, I think this will really help me, as I get terrible abdominal tension and lower back pain going down into the hips when I am on my period. The hip pain is the worst, and finding a comfortable position is nearly impossible. Lately I found only a hot water bottle helps. But, hopefully, after 38 years and counting, that will come to an end soon. Until then my body says: let's go out with pain, nausea and sickness! I wish had a room like you have though, my house from 1640 with it's wonky floors is not helping.

How to cure your back pain. I’m delighted you’ve found a way that works for you. Unfortunately I’m nowhere as able so can’t do any of these things however I did find it Interesting and learnt something from watching. Keep up the good work and stay healthy and pain free.

Some good tips. My hips have become so tight after years in the chair, and I get bad low back pain sometimes. It was only recently that someone explained my back pain was due to tight hip flexors. Your explanation makes total sense to me.

You've got a whole lot of muscle in those arms. I can't imagine getting in those positions, much less getting back in the chair. You do give hope 💕

Please tell me 1 year after spinal injury.
1. How do you defecate?
2. How do you urinate?

The thing you did with the foam roller while facing up, I do with my chair. I support myself on the wheels and use the front of the seat pan to stretch that lower part of my back. It usually pops like nuts also.

This is genius, great tips! I'm definitely going to have to try them out. I've got a lot less mobility than you, but hopefully with help I'll be able to figure out how to modify some of those stretches.

Great tip! I'm post 23 years SCI. Daily wheelchair user. I use your methods daily at the gym or home before and after workout. Works wonders on the body. From experience weight management is crucial for overall wellness as a wheelchair user, for everyone really disabled or not. It helps to prevent lower back issues, shoulder, neck you name it. I'm very conscious of my health and want to live a full long life with a SCI. I created great habits to prevent these ailments. Daily weight management, stretching, working the muscles you have are crucial to get in the habit of doing. Also super beneficial for mental wellness. Cheers!
