I really like that summary at the end: tradition and experience has a voice and has a vote, but only scripture has a veto.

This might be the best summary of Sola Scriptura.

I love when ppl tell me I don't follow God's truth, I follow my truth because I put scripture over man-made traditions

Genesis 2:7: "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."

2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Thank you for this.
Tradition gets lost and/or changed.
Experiences may be true, but in Acts 28 we see that the natives though their experience was true, (for example, they saw Paul bit by a viper), their conclusions were wrong both times.
1. No, he wasn't a murderer
2. No, he wasn't a god
The truth is only what was revealed to us and recorded in scripture and it has stood the test of time as being unchanged.

The Eccumenical Councils of the Holy Catholic and Apistolic (orthodox) Church are viewed by the church as the direct word of God, not any different from holy scripture. This is found to originate at Pentecost and is further evidenced at the Council of Jerusalem featured in the Acts of the Apostles. The bishops of the Orthodox church are recognized as the successors to the apostles, containing the same Holy Spirit that descended to and spoke through the Apostles at that council.

I always have to laugh at how the doctrine of Sola Scriptura (a tradition of men) has been whittled back into looking mighty like the Apostolic churches views of Scripture.
Because the original arguments for Sola Scriptura held no doors open for tradition and experience. It relied on the "perspicuity of Scripture" which of course immediately led to 4 reformers who had very divergent views of Scripture...proving the idea of the perspicuity of Scripture as being utterly false.

TL;DR yes, Scripture is the final word on doctrinal/dogmatic matters.

Who then determines how the scriptures should be interpreted and how do we know which interpretation is true?

Interesting. Does scripture agree with this?

Prima Scriptura seems like a better description given the summary at the end.

Good point. Traditiion and experience have a voice and a vote. Only Scripture has the veto.

would love to know how he feels about the orthodox church and it’s believe about scripture and the roll of tradition within the church.

the problem is with "SOLE infallible rule of faith"
Jesus gave infallible authority to His apostles, especially Peter- "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, whatever you lose on earth will be loosed in Heaven"
also, several different writings were considered Scripture by different people such as some of Saint Irenaeus' letters. It is ultimately the Church that defined what is Scripture and what isn't, thus having the authority to decide which writings are infallible and which aren't.

Also, the Scriptures themselves point to the Church possessing authority, especially Acts.

For anyone defending tradition and saying sola scriptura isn’t good enough, no one I think is saying tradition is bad. It’s tradition that goes against God’s word that is bad. When you start talking to the dead and praying to dead saints and dead Mary, for example, that’s acting like a medium which God calls an abomination. When you have a ritual like the rosary that has more prayers to Mary than God, that’s called idolatry.
