Ever since I started a full time job as an enviro artist I stopped going to the gym. It's impossible to combine 8 hours of work with family and raising a kid. Provided I want to go at least 3 times a week. Rant over 😅 EDIT: More power to you for making it work! I'll try and get inspired by you, see how it goes.

I don't know if you've seen Dr K's video called "The Secret Behind Resisting Dopamine", but the methods you provided where so accurate and good (scientifically). I've tested these things you've mentioned myself, recently, and it had a HUGE impact on my life and productivity. And btw, I used to drink a cup of coffee everyday for my productivity, but since I found out it has withdrawal effects (and tolerance) I cut if off. It was hard the first few days (as any other addiction is), but now i'm as energized as before, if not more (now my sleep is the main factor for my next day's mood). keep up with the great content. you're the best channel I'm subscribed to

I feel you on the diet. My wife is gluten and dairy free due to allergies, and my son is either bulking or cutting. It's definitely the hardest thing to organize.

Diet and exercise is so underrated especially for creators. Ive seen art streamers who sounded stressed and looked sleep deprived on camera and its most likely that.

Speaking of self doubt, did you ever make a video about it? how did you overcome it?

nice job setting up that routine, i can definitely tell that you push yourself to get where you want to be. i'm about to jump on the chicken train after my busy season at work is over, getting 200g of protein is pretty hard without some form of meat. right now i'm just focusing on getting 150 minutes of cardio a week but it's motivating to see how hard you work.

I'm 67. wow Tyler, you are really cut and stacked
when on the computer I do the 20/20/20 thing. I set timer on my phone for 20 minutes, when it goes off, I look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds, reset timer. after second iteration I get up and walk around the apartment complex (0.44 miles) which takes about 10 minutes at a sedate pace. then repeat. I get about 10K steps a day. I stay active and go to gym. I do go out to eat once a week but AVOID buffets, as one can really over eat there.
to reduce stress I stopped watching the news or checking it on web. several years ago a political thing came on tv and I had a flash of boiling anger and I destroyed my tv. so as a result I stopped watching news. if there is any major news I figure I'd hear about it from friends or it would be all over the web. And I picked up an old "hobby" I had in the 80s. reading books, especially scifi.

Thank you for the advice, exercise is hard for someone like me who has a full time job and commute to work by public transport in the morning . I will be sleep deprived if I try to achieve this. I will try those advice on the weekends. Thank you😊

I'm on a similar journey. I'm in the best shape of my life and that's just the beginning. I took the whole summer off to just live and experience life outside of art (work). I hope I'll have a lot tell when I reach my current goals and I hope this will influence my art for the better.
