I honestly didn’t even have to do any of that with my Dr. Martin’s. They fit like a glove right from the beginning. I love my Dr. Martins.

Freezing actually dehydrates the leather and makes it more prone to cracking and I doubt it does any stretching in 3 days.

Never freeze them or use heat according to dr martens manufacturer

Mink oil is SUPREME. Heat up the boot a bit with a hair dryer and rub mink oil ALL over it, even the inside (not the sole). Warning, it will darken the leather though, but if you're like me and only wear black, it's not an issue, lol. Think of leather like skin, it needs moisturizer and freezing it won't help much.

I bought a pair of knock offs called sincerely jules they would fit great but it’s always that lip you have to get your heel bone over that is too small for me. I’m in a wheelchair and also dislocated my ankle on one side years ago so have tons of issues with it now but I stuck a round water bottle in it and heated it up and just going to let it sit until tomorrow to see if that works!

Get leather conditioner and condition the inside of the boot. It'll be better for the boot in the long run, especially if you want them resoled when they start to get too much drag. Same applies to solovair and gripfast btw
