I’ve watched a lot of videos on this topic by this point and, truth be told, what you have to say on the topic makes the most sense to me ... especially those videos in which you talk about the need to be gentle on the stomach. My body always reacts much better when I follow your advice and opt for bland food. I think I’m going to stick with that advice. Thank you for daring to be different.

my dinner: ground beef with avocado and spices + raw grated carrot + steamed cabbage + sweet potatoes. why not? those are all healthy foods, for example.Also, fats slow down glucose uptake don't they. honest question.

How many hours should you do before worrying about how you break a fast? I understand breaking properly is important with longer fasts, but if youre just doing regular IF, cant yous till break it with all 3 macros?

I break every fast with 2 ounces of goat cheese and 1 ounce of macadamia nuts. I then wait 30 minutes to eat a regular meal, which usually consists of ground beef or steak.

I hope everyone here breaks their fast (that is, every break-fast so every morning so every day) with a lot of fat and protein! (Eggs, ground beef, pork, chicken, lamb, cheese, butter, tallow)
You can eat carbs once the meat starts to lose its taste to you (means your body signals your hunger is quenched), but it will depend on your activity level. Also, your body will tell you when you've have your carb limit for the day. Just listen to yourself!

I finally broke my fast with a collagen and kafir blueberry smoothie, avocado...and few macadamia nuts...then omlette with mushrooms and green onions and cheese and sauerkraut...then lamb snitzel with egg.
Food is sooo good 🤤

Combining fat and carbs is ok as long as your total calories isn’t too much and your choice of carbs and fat are high quality ones like organic animal fats and fruit or raw honey.

Sometimes when I break a 24 hour fast my heart rate spikes for about an hour.. Can this happen because of carbs? I need to try fats and protein only to see if it helps.

Been doing Thomas advice of 10gm of lean protein to break a fast 45-60 min before big meal..
I have definitely noticed if I skip this.. the sensitivity of my small intestine and stomach is in full inflammation mode🥴
Skipping this step has had me 🤮 from overlooking how sensitive my system gets from a prolonged fast. 😁👍 Thomas changed my life almost 5 years ago.. never going back 😌🔥💪
