Dude, first reactions are always off cause for me, it takes at least 2 viewings minimum before I can say if I think it's good/bad or if I liked the movie. I've heard mostly postive things from all the first reactions on YouTube, it's seems like this one will be a solid horror movie and that's what I care the most for. I'm excited for this one.

I already know it’s not going to beat the American Werewolf in London. I can’t get over how there hasn’t been a better werewolf transformation scene than from this movie made in 1981. That is crazy to me!

The make or break is going to be.... does the 'Wolf man' ever look more Wolfish than the slightly deformed murder hobo we've seen in the trailers and preview clips? If he eventually looks more Wolfman = good, if he just looks like a crazy murder hobo on fentanyl = bad.

One of the best ways to figure out if a studio believes their movie. It is usually based on the date they choose to release the film... January is not the month they drop "good" movies. (Suprises are likely to happen eventually, but i wouldnt bet on it.)

This movie looks disappointing. I’m a big Universal Classic Monsters fan, especially the Wolf Man, and everything I’ve seen or heard about this movie makes it seem like a generic horror movie where they just slapped “Wolf Man” on it for the title for cheap IP/brand recognition. I get trying something new, but if you remove every element that makes the Wolf Man what it is, you should’ve just made a new IP.

I’m going to give it a chance when I see it but I’m skeptical.
