Hello I am a Formula
Botanica newbie and I am considering this homogenizer ...I appreciate the time you took to conduct this experiment and share it. I definitely want a homogenizer and I almost ordered the same model but I want one on a stand and they seem to be almost triple the cost. Thanks again Sylvia

Thanks for sharing this! I am looking at purchasing this same model homogenizer, so very happy to see this model in action!

What are indicators you need to stop homogenizing and switch to a gentle stir? I'm doing cold processed creams using Olivem2090

I need one in myself. It looks like a creamy milk. It made hand stirred look incomplete like it was ready to start separating.

LOVELY ♥️♥️♥️
I didn't know homogenizer came as handheld(thought it only came in machine format)
Does it produce "medium shear" ???

Hmm... I think this may be handy in my kitchen. I'd love to try it for mayonnaise.

I get same result as Homogenizer when shaking my similar mixtures. I use glass with tin top - letting air vent using my thumb.

thanks for you effort, what about air bubbles in both?

I can see the one with homogenizer didnt seem to have soaping effect. probably because the homogenizer allows for the molecules to get really small. im sold on homogenizer. i think i will get one and get rid off my stick blender.

Very interesting, I actually prefer the glossiness of the hand stirred emulsion.

Why do you need to heat the liquid first?

Thank you for sharing. What is the minimum quantity that can be homogenized with this one ?

Have you tried an ultrasonic homogenizer vs the misceo stator/blade homogenizer? Just seeing if there is any incremental benefit for going to an even finer/smaller particle sizes. Nice video.

Thank you for posting this. Can I ask if you have tried using the Misceo without tilting it at an angle? I’m wondering whether this would put less air in. Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for showing, very interesting.
The temperature was 75 C ?
Is it a water in oil emulsion?
What was the emulsifier?
Greetings from Peter

Hallo
Danke für das zeigen, sehr Interessant.
Die Temperatur war 75 C ?
Es handelt sich um eine Wasser in öl Emulsion?
Was war der Emulgator?
Grüße von Peter

Stupid question but I am frustrated an my work: do you say "2 mins" at high shear or just doing and see/feel if the emulsion is done? All my samples are separating after a few hours...was long at home (maternity leave). But I work with a SOP and there is "2 mins" written and much high shear rate....asked colleques...they are just doing it and it works....

Hi. Homogenizers are best to be used in batches that are over 300 grams. Olivem 1000 is an oil in water emulsifier, how come you added the water to the oil? I know it can be done how you did it but the consistency will be different. You did not use a preservative either.
