I'm an actual practicing neuro in NYC, and I'm deeply appalled at this woman saying that "you don't need to eat dietary fats for brain health, bc fats don't cross the blood-brain barrier." That statement is wrong. I assure you that fats are VITAL for brain health - the human brain itself is >60% fat! Not only do fats cross the blood-brain barrier, essential fatty acids (EFAs) are needed to properly build the cell architecture (including myelinization) and biochemicals (including neurotransmitters) which are used in the nervous system. EFAs also serve an important function as messengers that signal the body to engage in neuroprotective activities and to start the cascade of reactions to build neurotransmitters, enhance immune function, etc.

Hearing her talking about how "much fat" you get from sweet potato, rice and oats makes me absolutely angry. When does that crazy HCLF thing finally end? I'm so fed up as that kind of diet advice is simply dangerous

These are some of the saddest “meals” I’ve ever seen. Poor thing. And all her advice and “knowledge “ seems like it comes out of thin air.

Can someone explain to me why some people concerned with "health" or "weight loss" don't season their food? Tons of spices and seasonings have decent vitamin and mineral contents, and I know in this video Emmie is getting her vitamins, but in general why wouldn't you want the flavor? Isn't food more satiating that way? And of course we shouldn't be drowning our food in salt, but would a pinch per meal really kill ya? I can't imagine eating anything that bland...

Wow I've never gotten so many likes on a comment 😭 I just wanna thank my mom for being Latina and raising me on well seasoned beans so that I could make this joke. And glad to see so many people agree that this use of beans is a SIN 😂

I would love to see a series on explaining different vitamins and minerals and where to get them from! I feel like there’s a lack in that area with most people

Honestly with the large volume, no seasoning and minimal fat, these ‘recipes’ are a big old throwback to struggling with orthorexic tendencies and makes me both sad and concerned that she is promoting this to such a large audience 😬

That entire food plan makes me furious that the term “nutritionist” is not properly regulated. I’m sure many people will watch this video and think that because she calls herself a nutritionist the information in her video is true without any further research ESPECIALLY all the young, impressionable girls. This makes me furious.
