I shoot with an A7iii, mostly still photos but I am doing more video. Coming from the Pentax K-1 I feel the A7iii was not a rugged or robust build- the water resistance is always a worry for me. The A7iv seems like a worthwhile upgrade if you can afford it. I personally am going to wait a bit.

I love my Sony A7iii, use it for my YouTube videos and clients videos! Though the A7iv, despite the 4K 60 FPS crop, still looks like a pretty good investment, especially for those who want to start with one the Sony A7 cameras! 💯✔️🔥

Got my A7III as an upgrade recently and I love it. I use DJI drones and love the 4k 60 feature the Air 2s has 10 bit color (on a 1 inch sensor but still) I would love 10 bit color, got serious buyers remorse sometimes if I could get the A7IIII now I would but I couldn't go any loner without a great full framed sony unfortunately. hope I didn't make a huge mistake...

Just got my A7IV, its definitely a substantial upgrade from A7C. The 10fps on CFE-A and no buffer lag is actually so much more practical and faster in terms of workflow than having 10fps with a buffer of only 3x uncompressed and locking up the camera for 10-20 secs. I actually filled up the 80GB card too quickly, and made me regret not getting the 160gb CFE-A

I just got the a7iv! I’m in love! Does having a faster memory card help with the buffering when shooting RAW uncompressed?

The A7III was THEE best mirrorless camera ever made when it came out. It did EVERYTHING well and it built Youtube as we know it. The A7IV is an incremental spec increase to a damn near perfect camera. Sony Calls it their "entry" level camera, but you'd have to be a working Professional Photographer to justify any other Sony FF camera they sell.

I was going to get an A7III but Decided to just pre order the A7IV instead, this will be my first Legit camera of any kind for my Small YouTube channel and I can definitely work around that 4K 60Fps Crop thing. I do videos on Car Audio with Close up's of my Router Table Blade Spinning as it cuts through ABS plastic, Wood, Acrylic etc and I am 100% positive that my Subscribers are NOT going to be able to tell the difference between full frame and a crop if I simply move the camera further back or change the lens to something that gives a wider view. I'm positive I'm gonna be blown away with the A7IV vs using my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Hi there. Could you share a Sony A7IV video sample of 1080p 24fps compared with the same scene in 4k 24fps, please? I just want to understand if FHD is good or soft as it downsampled from 7K.
Also, if you can record 1080p 60 and 120 FPS it would be perfect. Thank you.
