what they don't tell you though is if you, is if you buy a laptop from say HP or Dell, and you buy after market RAM that isn't theirs they limit your speed to 2133MHz and their BIOS is so garbage they won't let you change it, and if you overclock the RAM with say MSI afterburner or similar software, and go even slightly above the RAMs specifications, you get stuck in a eternal boot loop and have to buy whole new RAM

I have 2 PNY 1600 8GB Ram sticks with C11 Latency. I want to buy 2 additional 8GB Ram sticks. Cost isn’t a factor.

Should I buy:

2 Motoeagle 1600 8GB with C7 Latency

or

2 PNY identical to the 2 that I am already using

Make sure your laptop is actually upgradable before doing any of this. Some company’s have started making their ram not upgradable.
