Sorry to piss on the piggyback marketing campaign, but wagyu only exists in Japan. It is a specific breed of cattle. You can get wagyu outside of Japan in the same way you can get parmigiano reggiano and parma ham outside of Italy, as in it’s a cheap knockoff.
