2021 iPad Mini 6 Review - We Need An iPad Mini Pro!

In this video we are taking a look at my 2021 iPad Mini 6 Review and going over my one month later experience. Ultimate, I have a love and hate relationship with this tablet. On one hand I love the size, experience, features, and design. On the other I have a major issue with one thing that ruins some of the experience for me. To be honest, we really need an iPad Mini Pro! We will be looking at the design, content consumption experience, A15 Bionic performance, software, and the iPad Mini 6 jelly scroll issue will be addressed. iPad mini pro:
- 120hz display
- M1 chip
- Face ID, and Touch ID
- thunderbolt 4
- better storage options starting at 128gb and up
- better battery life to compensate for all the extra added stuff, so making it a bit thicker won’t be so bad for better battery
- smart connector to give those an option to type on it. Just having the option would be best

I would pay more for all that in a heart beat for sure. It would be the perfect iPad for on the go for whatever your needs

I have the iPad Mini 6. Honestly, I love this thing and would love if a pro version was available. Honestly, if I could pair my Apple Watch to the mini and skip iPhones altogether, I don’t think I’d be so opposed to that.

Watching this on my new Mini 6. However I have to say personally I feel like the scroll issue feels like a forced issue made big by YouTubers and not anything significant to most people. I get that it does effect people more than others, but it feels at the absolute bottom the list well behind dock pins which I don’t even need either. What I really wish it did was having stacked multitasking in portrait mode and a mini LED display (way more important then the pro motion aspect).

How is the ipad mini 6 Netflix experience? Does it play max resolution and 60fps? How does the display compare to an amoled/oled screen?

I’m planning on getting an iPad mini 6. Would I be better with 64gb or 256gb. I wanna store all the pre-installed apps, most social medias, Netflix, Disney+, a couple of shopping apps (Amazon, eBay, apple store), most Microsoft apps for school, videos and iMovie to upload those videos to YouTube

We literally all want an iPad Mini Pro with 120hz and slimmer bezels. That's it Apple. Just a refresh rate. Maybe a little more brightness. That's so easy to do Apple please don't stop making the iPad mini. Lenovo Legion y700 Tablet is coming into the market hard against iPad mini 6 with small Oled screen, 888/8gen1 chip, 120hz. Looking like almost a better buy than the Mini 6.

And the cellular models are expensive the 256gb is $800 so why not make it a pro model? I would definitely change my iPad Pro 10.5 for a iPad Pro mini but till then I’ll keep waiting and if they did a 128gb that will be perfect 🤩

What storage do you recommend?
I feel like 64 is basic but I wouldn't want to run out of space.
Especially since I only want it to take notes and basic things, both from school and multimedia.
But the 254 version I feel is much and more expensive 😶. But I read that adding storage helps the optimal functioning of the device.
But honestly I don't know if it's true 🤔

I kinda wanna get one. I've never owned an ipad and kinda want one. I dont really have a "need" for it but I'm very hesitant about the mini. I agree with you. It's good enough not great. If it was great I would have bought it by now

Personally, I don't think we need a Pro version. Mini are intended as a sub machine not a do all be all devices. But I think that for the price we should at least got a 128 GB base storage + a better screen ( Not necessarily 120Hz but a brighter less problematic screen )

As much as I like the compactness of the mini, I think the Air or 11inch pro would be a perfect eventual replacement for my Tab S7.

Thanks for pointing out jelly scroll in portrait mode. Bad choice by apple and disappointing to see in person. Apple could have done better and made this device free from this obvious issue.
