I was both right and wrong about the iPad Mini 6.

It was the one iPad I’ve used over the past few years that didn’t make sense to me before I got it. I was convinced that between my iPhone and my larger iPads, there would never be a situation where I would want to use it, so I didn’t really understand the demand.

But I read a ton of your comments, like, literally almost every single one, so I could tell that so many people were excited about it. And even though I already had the iPad Mini 5, I had to test this one out for myself, so after 3 months of use, here is the good news, the bad news and I’m also going to give you my recommendation about which one to get - and thank you to Best Buy for sponsoring this video.

I moved from iPad Air 3rd gen to the newest iPad mini and the change is definetely worth it. After a 2 months of everyday use, I can’t say anything else that, I really love this device.

Hi!!!! I got the mini 6 for Christmas and i LOVE it. I am a senior in high school and am so happy with the note taking features and the Apple Pencil 2. I also love it for content consumption. A lot of students use iPads for note taking and since I already have a MacBook Air this is the perfect choice for me

Absolutely love the mini 6. I use my for daily use. And I love being able to read my ebooks on it. I wish it had the 120, but I can live without it. This is just a nice fit in the hand, on the lap, and it’s just easy to carry around. Getting my cellular hooked up this week 😍. I don’t even use my 2017 pro anymore other than to was media right before bed.

I really love my iPad mini 6 as well, great for reading my ebooks and watching shows~ but the only thing i wish they did was to include face id. I’m so used to face id on my phone and my ipad pro so this missing feature was a bummer. Another thing is i hope for apple to release a software update with the keyboard ratio configuration in landscape mode. Don’t understand why its taking almost 2/3 of the screen 🤦🏻‍♀️ Other than that i really do enjoy the portability of this device!

Good review on what it covers...would help those of us who not only watch videos and play games but also read digital books and magazines, if reviewers would include actual reading experience (pdf, epub, night vs day reading modes, etc). Knowing it's blazingly fast for gaming is nice, but since my student days I read much more than game, so use Acrobat Reader and Kindle App almost daily. Don't use the ipad mini 4 in split screen mode (too small); use in portrait is a little more than in landscape mode.

Excellent job. I lived vicariously through you for 3 months ! I decided I was unhappy with the bang for buck results and Didn't have to return it. Also, that Samsung tablet cameo, made me feel better. My needs & use are satisfied with my overkill purchase. I'm definitely buying once ! I absolutely love the iPad Mini, This is the first tablet that I've ever purchased and the reason why is because I always hated those humongous screens - They are uncomfortable to carry around and the experience to me wasn't good since I wanted something big to watch content in then I will go to my MacBook or I would just simply watch TV but this thing is absolutely amazing, from watching movies videos to taking notes for my work and this is the main reason I got it! Great work Apple for creating this, I absolutely love it!

I picked up the iPad Mini 6 as soon as it was released, mostly for photo and video editing on the run and as a monitor for my DJI Mini 2. It works perfectly for both. I really do not need a keyboard case for it that is why I have 11” iPad Pro, but unfortunately it is being neglected because I use the Mini more.

I am already looking forward to upgrading my iPad 9 when more come out! I do want a 120hz screen. I love this iPad 09 though!! I also have iPhone 11. All an upgrade from my iPad air 2.. love it. I also like this YouTube channel!!

Amazing video as always!
I was almost certainly buying the iPad 9 today but now I'm seriously considering the iPad mini6 instead.
I already have an iPhone 12 and MB Air M1.
I need a device for carrying around when on trips for routine browsing, making travel bookings & reading...don't want to carry the Macbook. Another use while at home is for reading & taking notes (I'm a doctor) & media consumption ....can you recommend me between iPad 9 and iPad mini6?

Hi brother, great video as always. I recently used the ipad mini 6 for a few minutes on a store and I totally agree with the gaming aspect. perfect size but the huge con for me is jelly scroll effect. I cant unsee it and thats a big blow for me.

I was into iPad mini 6, I went for the Ipad 9, it's like cheaper and good in book reading, gaming in larger screen, Survivalable chipset for a iPad, and screen and camera are acceptable

I really wish they made a “pro” version of the mini with the slightly smaller bezels, mini LED, faceID, the camera square, and pro motion. I feel like Apple could make the device slightly thicker to combat battery life, but for what I do as a mechanical engineer, the LiDAR is a must have.

Great review! I personally won’t get it due to the jelly effect (bothers the hell out of me) but you hold up some really great points!

I love using my ipad mini 6 for gaming, browsing the web and watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube etc. I can hold this device in a long time.

As a Genshin Impact mobile gamer, this iPad is a godsend for me. Definitely my best purchase in 2021. Great performance, great battery life, USB C, super portable I can carry it anywhere without catching an eye. I downgraded from an iPad Pro M1 and the only things I miss are the extra RAM and ProMotion display, other than that it's an absolutely perfect device for me, a mobile gamer. But if you wish to do some work on an iPad, you'd better of with the Pro + keyboard

Hello sir.. First of all i really admire your videos for sheer accuracy and being on point.. Sir my query is I have a budget of USD 500 for a tablet.. Should i go with ipad mini 6 or wait for ipad Air 5(will save up to meet Air 5 budget) ? The thing is I'll use it for 3 to 4 years and can't upgrade before that... I'll highly appreciate your help.. Great video as usual. I really like the mini. I use it mostly for note taking and content consumption. No complaints with the jelly scrolling I don’t notice it unless I’m looking for it . Definitely not good for multitasking . I would like the pro motion even more than in the iPad Air, taking to consideration that this is the best format for content consumption and gaming pro motion would be nice.

I love my iPad Mini. I sold my Tab S7 for it and I am impressed. The battery life is fantastic and the processor and Apple Pencil are great. I will say though that it suffers from the same problems the Tab S7 had. Apps are just not optimized for this tablet 2 or 3 months later. It lakes the Apple polish that I am used to, but I’m sure it’ll come eventually since Apple sells these things for at least 2 or 3 years before moving to the next model.
