Do you need to Replace the spark plugs on your Nissan Sentra (2007 - 2012) but don't know where to start? This video tutorial shows you step-by-step how to do it!

What's covered:
Nissan Sentra Haynes Repair Manual for all models from 2007 through 2012

PLEASE NOTE that this manual is intended for vehicles built to US specifications and do not cover diesel models unless specifically stated. Although it is useful when the products or systems are similar to those in other markets, there may still be significant differences, especially in areas concerned with safety and emission control.

Absolutely love this video. Took me about 5 hours to get the job done because I had to figure out what size sockets to use, had to try on each one to see which fits, and had to run to the store a couple times to pick up tools I didn’t have. But otherwise, I appreciate how the video was straight to the point and there wasn’t too much talking.

I like how straight to the point this is. As a beginner (kind of), it would be helpful to have the mm for all bolts, torque specs, and any special tools (and link if possible). I have a pdf for the original service manual but it's a PIA looking for specifics. This spark plug change, while simpler than some other things I've done, seems way more tedious than necessary. It seems easier doing the 16 spark plugs for my Jeep than this. But like most cars, I've noticed there is always that handful of areas on every car that make you shake your head at the engineering. Like it was purposely made to force the average Joe to pay for professional dealership prices.

Its a lot of removal just for spark plugs change 😔

This has to be the most complicated plug removal I’ve ever seen

I'd like to have words with the engineers that made changing plugs out this involved. Jeesh.

I own a 2007 model which look very difference in the the engine compartment. I just have to remove a cover and have direct access to the spark plugs !

This 8 minute video took me about 4 hours. But I did it. Loved the video. Just a little thing I wish you wouldn’t mentioned in this video was the tools needed. I thought I had a long enough extender but turns out I didn’t and that caused me some delay

In short, remove engine cover, then remove engine, then break down the car completely, put it back together as a temporary lawnmower, become a chemist, then you can now change the spark plugs

Thank you for this video, I was intimidated trying to do this by myself but your video explained everything perfectly and easily, it took me less than an hour. Thank you.

While still more work than I feel like doing, your method seems simpler than that on another video which had me ready to just call the mechanic !

You forgot to tighten the support bracket bolt on a right side underneath the throttle body before you put the throttle body back on 🥶😬

I gave it a shot and I did alright until the last two nuts... They were in way too tight so I put it all back together and took it to a professional. But in my attempt I think I solved my problem (decreased mph of late)... My air intake hose was cracked. Oh and take it easy taking that thing off...$70!

don’t put any compound if it’s NGK, they specifically state that. and the OEM for this is NGK

Do you have to reset the throttle body after reassembling everything? Or is that only if you replace the throttle body?
