No backups of anything as that sd card is long gone

I had my 2ds light blue and then power off but what I did is I turned it off when it got to the backup mode and then I re inserted my SD card and it went back to the 2ds menu that is the easiest way

i was an idiot and tried using a new sd card on my already cfw 2ds without putting it into the system to get the 3ds folder first. i put the boot.3dsx and boot.firm on the root and put it back in bc why the heck not, and now when i boot it up (no matter what buttons i press down to do so-- since theres a few ways) it just says failed to mount SD. any idea how to fix this because i apparently don't have a brain or any basic cognitive skills? i'll handsomely reward anyone who can help
