Strange Sagami Bay Encounter - Extended ROV Footage

This (in)famous piece of footage from Sagami Bay, Japan, has long been a source of fascination on this channel-- both for viewers and for myself. I've only just found a slightly extended version of this classic clip, which I find very interesting and worthy of looking at.

The Sagami Bay mystery subject in this footage has long been considered one of the strangest pieces of deep ocean footage; the extended portion of this clip may finally confirm what some people have long thought this previously unknown subject to be.

it's still creepy how it eerily coincidentaly formed a face like figure. I know it's not a cryptid, but somewhere in my heart still wish it was.

Mystery solved. I always thought it might have been some sort of cephalopod, but this makes so much more sense. I had secretly hoped it was a new species, like a kind of deep sea manatee like creature lol

We're simply seeing a creepy face in a rock which has a couple of sponges or clams attached.. but... _I so want him to be real!!_ 😭 I love that deep-sea sandman! 😱❤😄

Did anyone else see the next set of "eyes" down to the right-ish before the clip ends. It would be odd to think that there were two rock formations with glowing objects of some sort which were the same distance apart, more or less, as the very obvious formation or whatever it may or may not be. I thought a second one was coming up before it cut off.

The interesting part is though... At the end of the clip there is a new set of "eyes" to the right, bottom that are stationary. And that's where the footage cuts... Maybe there was a 2nd one.
Still it be an odd looking cryptid for sure xD.

I never thought that was anything other than a rock or something similar due to different sized eyes, but them cutting off that footage there only removed something more interesting. Seriously, shortly after that you can see two glowing things that look like legitimate eyes in the lower right side at 2:02.
