Being a Christian and claiming to be a Christian are two different things

There's plenty of churches in America and worldwide where an LGBT person is physically unsafe. Lmao some audacity from Morgan.

Paul, when you said "your purity goes beyond just your virginity" you said that right brother!!

I'd assume "Safe" refers to the suicide rates that are cited as almost double for teens and young adults in Christian and other religious environments in which they have heard their parents speak negatively about being LGBTQ.

I think its weird for a christian who steuggles with same-sex attraction to identify as a 'gay christian' its weird because if you apply the same to any other sin or temptation, no one else is going to identify themselves as a 'Lustful christian' or 'Theft tempted christian'. its just weird

I knew there was a reason I left the church. I couldn’t conform any longer, tried to kill myself and was cast out. I’m just a statistic. So many of us have killed ourselves over legalistic doctrine and only continue to. It’s my hope that any LGBT+ teenager seeing this accepts themself and puts the knife, the pills, the gun down. Those who matter don’t mind and those who mind don’t matter 💛

I feel jubilee never has fair representation. Like Jason was standing alone standing in biblical truth. The rest were more progressive. Definitely not equal representation

I wish people would realize that the majority of women who choose abortion don’t walk away light & free. The majority are burdened & haunted by that sin that they can’t undo. We ARE loving women too when we say Don’t Do This to Your Baby because you may have immense feelings of regret, mental health issues, self esteem problems etc. My pastor’s wife & many other women who have aborted babies testify to this.

I was in two Jubilee videos a few years ago. The middle ground episodes I think more fairly represent the conversations that actually happen in person. (For mine, they cut out some dialogue that would be considered controversial.)

On the other hand, their Spectrum episodes have a way of promoting shock value in the way they edit and the prompts they use. My experience on “Do All Christians Think The Same” in 2019 was actually pretty traumatizing because of how they spliced the conversation together. Jason was also in that episode.

Her laugh after he stated that there are two lesbians living near them is the exact unconscious bias and ungodly dehumanization that so many lgbt feel from religious individuals.

For the guy that identified as gay but says he doesn't practice, there is obvious confusion there and possibly secret sin. No one that is set free by Christ should still be okay with identifying with that sin. For whom the son sets free is free in deed.

gosh this video broke my heart. that women is a hero. anyone watching this who has had an abortion, is lgbtq+ or simply does not feel safe at church which btw is a very valid feeling, know you are so loved and worthy and sacred. check out nadia bolz weber, her books and wisdom opened me up to a faith brighter than i ever imagined.

Im sorry, but what on earth do you mean by “more empathy than Jesus?” More empathy than Paul maybe (as in the biblical Paul), but not Jesus. Jesús welcomed the stranger and loved his neighbor and taught the sermon on the Mount and the parable of the Good Samaritan. The times he was harshest was with the merchants in the temple and the Pharisees. Where in Jesus’s actual life are you seeing a lack of empathy?

You’re really going to compare addiction to being gay? How do you get over love? How do you overcome love? I just don’t understand how love is a sin

I honestly believe y’all are 100% right and nothing was too hard because it’s truth and these people CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIAN and it’s a bad representation of what a true Christian lives and thinks.

When someone is indwelt with the Spirit of the Living God, I don’t think it’s possible for him or her to NOT feel conviction about sin. My older brother had zero care about abortion for his entire life but after being born again, he became zealously against abortion because he just KNEW it was murder.

It’s interesting to me that y’all have the respect to make sure u say all the letters of the lgbtq+ community but at the same time don’t support that “lifestyle” and want ppl to work through their “sin”

Porn addictions and homosexuality are not one in the same, pal. The amount of trauma I have from praying away the gay is going to take years of counseling.
