The emphasis you put on self love and acceptance in conjunction to getting healthy and losing weight is SOOO important and I don't feel like enough "influencers" talk about how important it is to be healthy in your mind first and foremost. Some of the times in my life when I lost the most weight and was at my thinnest were when I was also the most mentally ill so it wasn't healthy at all! And obviously not sustainable. 🤷‍♀️

You have no idea the impact you are having on teen girls by showing your marks and loving your body. I work with teens who compare themselves to filtered pics causing low self esteem, depression, and eating disorders. You are amazing and beautiful. Thank you!!

I experienced the same constipation! I went cold turkey 2 years ago and was so bloated and constipated for a couple of weeks, and then it went away and I have absolutely no problems since then! Lost 120 pounds so far, excited to do this eat your veg challenge! Love your channel Kiki!

This video was recommended when I searched for "plant based breakfast." New follower. I have a lot of weight to lose, but more importantly than the weight at this phase of my life, is that I need to restore my health. I'm old enough to be your Mom. After years of eating sugar and processed food, it's taken it's toll on my health. And I'm allergic to all red meat since a tick bite 2 years ago. I've had a lot of inflammation and multiple autoimmune diseases. I want to be more active physically, without health issues and pains, and the weight loss will be the plus. I'm sure your channel will be a great help for me. Love your personality and style as well.

I have been watching you for a month. I enjoy everything you post even the bloopers. I have watched High Carb Hannah but I feel I can relate to you more. I am half Mexican half German and have been overweight for 6 years now. I bought the two books you recommended. I started a whole food plant base diet almost 3 weeks ago. My starting weight was 189. I have some whacked out periods an major anemia problems. Bleeding for 25 days straight then no bleeding. I have been to so many doctors with little help. I want my health back. You are inspiring me that I can get my health back. ❤

I love you 🫶🏽! Thank you so much for your inspirational stories and information throughout your videos 🥹 I have PCOS so it’s easy come and hard to lose weight. I have been stuck at 150 ish for most of my adult life I can lose 10lbs and as soon as I have a regular American diet with meat I gain it all back. One week recently, I was stress eating sweets and whatever I wanted to comfort me and gained 10lbs in A WEEK! 😢 Now it doesn’t want to leave. I am ready to love on me and do what’s necessary for my body while gaining super confidence in my own skin. To have a vegan diet is my goal to counteract my PCOS and weight control. So grateful for ppl like you sharing recipes and health journeys. You make my heart full and the food is amazingly delicious-that cheese sauce OMGosh! I’m rambling. ✌🏽 Don’t stop being authentically you, you are amazing and Gorgeous! 🖤

Loved this!! Made me cry when you spoke of self confidence, something I still struggle with on a daily basis. I loved when you said: "I encourage you not to compare your body to mine or anybody else's, you are uniquely you, your body is your body and let that be the best body it can be for you. Don't compare yourself to what my body looks like or what the next person's body looks like. Don't waste time in that space and don't waste time feeling bad about how you look, there is only one of you! Feeling beautiful is a choice." I am going to recite this to myself every day during the challenge - thanks so much! :) Big hugs! <3

Loved this video. It's great that you point out, when doing Dr. McDougall's plan (50/50 plate), you encourage the use of sauces and condiments. I think that's the part a lot of people get wrong, including me. I really did not enjoy the 50/50 plate. But, once I started mixing up the simple mustard/maple/lemon juice dressing, I was hooked. Now, I find it so stinkin easy. And the only positive I can say about this COVID-19 phase, is that it allowed me to eat, without guilt, the whole foods, plant based way. My husband is not vegan. He still wants all his meats, lunch meats, milk, cheeses, etc. I finally am okay with that. It's not for me to change him. I tried, it didn't work. And I can cook everyday at home, and enjoy doing it. And he's enjoying eating at home again. I think the high salt and fat content kept drawing him to eat out. Now he's kinda stuck with me. Ha Ha. But he's happy not eating out now. I do push more veggies on him than usual, but it is what it is. Luv your stuff.
