There are SO many medication interactions my doctor didn’t tell me about when I started taking ADHD medication. Talk to your pharmacist! That's what they're there for!

If you think you have ADHD, I made a worksheet to help determine if you meet the diagnostic criteria and talk to your doctor about it!

Such an important post. I've been on ADHD meds for close to 20 years - and all the info I have on them has been through my own research. Not one prescriber ever took the time to explain this and more about being on them (ESP long term). Thanks for spreading awareness.
Love your channel! Subbed after watching 2 shorts lol.

The vitamin C one is actually really useful to know for people who also have anxiety. When I first was started on them I was really worried that they wouldn’t react well, and I was told if I just take 2 Emergencies that it would pretty much negate the affects. That helped me feel a lot more confident on them.

Meanwhile this is my third psychiatrist who just shrugs their shoulders when I ask them for information😢
I recently was made aware that elvanse was finally approved for adults (here in germany if you get diagnosed as an adult, there is very few options). I asked if I could try it to see if it has fewer side effects/works better and my psychiatrist just asked my "why? Aren't they all the same?"

My man, it can't be my job to educate you about the meds you're supposed to prescribe me?

One thing ive learned is be careful with alcohol. My doctor never told me about that, been on riddilin for about 3 weeks, had 2 drinks the other night and did not feel good the next day.

It's the freaking heartburn meds for me! I felt wired up once when I did this! Thankfully, I figured out that just taking a 15 minute walk after a heavy meal is the cure-all! My doc was back when did mention the vitamin c.

Don’t take them with antacids? I haven’t heard that one before?

I take vitamin C every day! I had no idea there was a possibility of it interfering with my ADHD medication. Thank you so much for this video!

They aren't kidding about nausea symptoms. Make sure you have baking soda and water in the house and try to have small meals not big ones

Hello 😊 I have a question after how long do the side effects of Methylphenidate like anxiety and slight heart palpitations go away, I am currently on 36 mg modified release for 4 days, previously I was on 18 mg for seven days, so it's been 11 days since I started taking the drug and I still have this feeling as if anxiety came and went alternately with a nice feeling of peace, will it go away or is it too early to give up and admit that this medicine is not for me, I would really appreciate an answer, thank you very much in advance

Hello :) @savetimeshan
Could you please explain how you exercise while on meds? Also very high intensive workouts? Or do you exercise when they wear off?

And is this maybe the reason why I can handle 20mg on some days very well and on others it‘s kinda overdosed? Because it depends if I had Vitamin C for breakfast like Kiwis 🥝 Oranges 🍊 red peppers 🌶️ and so on?
I really like fresh fruits and Soy yogurt in the morning 🤦🏼‍♀️ and on some days I eat nothing with Vitamin C but I can’t put it 100% in context with that right now… because I can’t remember if that were the bad day’s 😕 (I’m from Germany and not a native speaker :D)

And, yes, it's a struggle if you have anxiety as well like I do

except for exercise (which is just good for you in general), you could read all that on the instruction paper in the package (or whatever it's called)
