Urologist Jared Berkowitz explains that people who notice blood in their urine should always be evaluated, but there's no reason to assume cancer is the cause. This sometimes-alarming symptom can also be associated with urinary tract infections, prostate enlargement, kidney stones and other kidney disease.

Mine only started a day or two after my period was finished. At first in the morning i only needed to urinate a tiny bit but it hurt, and i felt like i needed to do it often, after a while i started urinating normally with a little pain afterwards, i thought the tiny blood dots was just period blood leftover so i didnt think much of it. Now this morning my wee was red and it hurts, I am gutted cuz i have to miss a day of school to go see a doctor, i dont want to go into school in this state, constantly feeling like i need the loo, blood in my wee, stressing out over it, i wouldnt be able to focus in class properly. But i am in year 11 and it is vital i have as much attendance as possible especially when i have double lessons of certain subjects, i.e today i have double english, so i'll be missing two days worth of work. All this over blood in the urine. -.- I just hope its nothing to serious. and is just a urinary tract infection that can be treated.

Oh shit.... I had this like 2 years ago at school and I didn't tell anyone ever... but it stopped a day after? It's so painful tho

Dr. is hematuria condition make me unable to pass a DOT test in order to get a truck driver licence (the kidney specialist made me test and they didn't found anything)
