Speaking as a metal Musician/Mixer/Producer ...this tip works for Acoustic and Clean guitars, but will make Distorted/Overdriven guitars sound muddy, if anything you want to be cutting this area (300-600hz) in metal (less important on the side image but in the center, for sure cutting this area is likely too happen, unless you like to mask all your upper mids...then go for it lool)

hello and thank you for your videos. they have been most informative and helpful. I have question: when you separate the vocals into mid and side after duplicating them do you put the vocals in a summing stack or in a pre fader bus and blend the effect in?

should i cut the lows according to the Key of the song ..like for example..if my song is on F ..then should i apply a low cut on 80hz or whichever is F on side image

Anybody know how to duplicate tracks in FL? I recorded vocals so should I just make another copy of each clip and stack them under the original clips throughout the whole mix and then send them (the originals + copies) to different mixer tracks? I know how to that but I feel like Sage means something else by "duplicate" here.
