Okay for any of you Tampa residents that STILL are not sure if you should leave, understand that mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for Macdill AFB. Mandatory Evacuees: Uniformed service members/dependents and all APF and NAF civilians employees/dependents ..
Went through this very thing Hurricane Michael 2018 Tyndall AfB and it destroyed our base and we lost almost everything. Please please leave, don’t hesitate.

If you can’t afford:
MAKE YOUR SITUATION known by going to your city and DEMAND help!! Go to police station, fire department, Red Cross center, and if no help, GO to a television station!!! You WILL get help I know you will. Make it known and do not give up in trying to leave. Praying 🙏

How will the homeless people evacuate?
How will the disabled people evacuate?
With what money? With what help?

That is such a populated area & not even debris cleared from last storm.

Those poor animals in zoos- the wild life, it's all very very concerning

The people in the A zones need to get out. That water has nowhere to go. I lived in A in Pinellas county and this is going to be life threatening. And it's not worth staying and taking the risk

A lot of people in the path of the storm do not have the money or resources to run

I have lived through a severe flood, it was indescribable. One of the problems regarding insurance pay outs is that AIG requires home owners to throw everything in their back or front yard so it can be recorded and thrown away by special teams. As you can see many of the "debris piles" are actually still in good condition, just requiring a sterile cleaning. But you don't get paid unless you photograph the pile and throw everything away. Its a huge sham, AIG needs to be held accountable fornthis part of their policy proceedings. Thank you for highlights on this issue.

With hurricane prep, first off, don't leave your PETS behind—they deserve better than that during a disaster. With Florida’s long history of hurricanes, it’s wild that we’re still not on top of our emergency game.

We need shelters stocked with medical supplies and separate areas for pet owners. It’s time for companies and the government to team up with skilled emergency pros to create solid blueprints for our cities. Everyone should know what to do when a crisis hits.

And honestly, if you’re still in Florida, while you may call it home, think about moving inland. Places like Tennessee or Summerdale, Alabama are not just cheaper; they’re safer, especially with climate change shaking things up. Let’s be smart and protect our communities and furry friends!
