Evacuation orders in place for Hillsborough County ahead of Hurricane Milton

As the Tampa Bay region and Florida continues its recovery from Helene, another storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico has the potential to batter the area.

Local, county and state leaders are taking necessary steps to ensure people remain safe from Hurricane Milton's forecasted effects. That includes the potential for evacuation orders.

Evacuation orders in citrus county but we have no gas at any stations. Gas starions did not get refilled overnight. We have no gas.

We just vacationed in treasure island and Tampa right where it’s going to hit. We absolutely loved the shops and stores and the people and we hope everyone is ok as well as their homes / businesses. I really hope there’s as little damage done as possible and hope it isn’t as bad as it seems.

I feel terrible for the people that live in these areas. I have relatives and friends that relocated to Florida to escape cold weather here in Pennsylvania in the winter add times. Now they are going through their second hurricane in a matter of a couple weeks.
