Bitter gourd, called Karela in Hindi, is a highly nutritious vegetable. It has a lot of healthy and essential nutrients. very very well explained! Thank you for uncovering the misconceptions of the use of bitter gourd but unluckily we cannot find these in our county. A friend of mine recoomened me to use karela capsules of planet ayurveda that have same benefits and no side effects.

You should use the word 'may' to describe if bitter gourd reduces blood sugar levels...it is very nutritional, but it is not established that it reduces Blood sugar.
