While in Thailand I eat 2 or 3 small ones a day.Bitter but complex and interesting.

It's a misnomer for melon since it's more a bitter gourd i.e vegetable, very common in Asian dishes steamed, or sliced thinly and cooked in scrambled eggs, or sliced and fried as crispy bitter snacks, or cooked in fresh sour tamarind and tomatoes for a sour bitter balance:) Perfect cleanse for gallbladder, bile support and liver detox from its very bitter medicinal grade compounds and wide range of antioxidants, excellent anticancer antivirus natural food. If pregnant, it should be mildly consumed only.
