ROG Ally X vs ROG Ally: Finally PERFECT!

The ROG Ally X is finally official and while I've been testing out the Ally X for two months now. It was only a couple weeks ago since I received the final retail unit for me to do some testing. And spoiler alert... It's finally perfect. I think for a 1.5 update, ASUS is heading towards the right direction here. I know their RMA/Service Center is a bit lacking, but the products they've been putting out recently has been really amazing and I think if you've been looking for the next best handheld. The ROG Ally X could easily be it.

@mark Linsangan i have a question. On the X do games like lego games still lose alot of frames and get stuttering unless you deactivate the touchscreen?

Thinking of buying either the Steam Deck OLED (AUD$1000) or the ROG Ally X (AUD$1600), I have a pretty big catalogue of games expanding over multiple PC launchers, not just steam. I play mostly single player stuff, with the occasional multiplayer game here and there - cba with the grind in most multiplayers anymore, I've got hundred of hours in Destiny 2 so would like to continue but not a deal-breaker.

With the recent upgrade of the Ally, which one should I buy for my use case?
Been researching this stuff for weeks and still stumped. Great video man! Keep it up :)

At 3:12 you say they are not hall effect triggers. They are hall effect triggers. I think maybe you were thinking of the sticks which are not, but the triggers definitely are.

How much more travel is there in the joysticks ? the original ally was like only 70% compared to a ps5 controller range
