I feel people who argue the 24gb ram isn't useful is stupid because the extra 8gb ram can be used for the gpu in which case it won't dig into the remaining 16gb of ram which can be used for the system only

MW3 is a huge game changer, my Ally 1 Z1 Extreme would always run into packet loss, shader slow downs, frame drops. The Ally X I feel fixed so many issues just lacks an OLED but meh 😂

I have a 7900XTX external GPU dock connected to my ROG Ally X and I am crushing 1440p gaming.

4k Ultra cyberpunk FSR2.1 balanced and I’m at 67fps average in the benchmark.

I have had my z1 extreme a short time and i absolutely love it its handles everything i throw at it i did buy an ssd for it but im throwing AAA games at it and its been enjoyable and honestly one if the best components to my edc

the best thing about it is u can turn down the resolution to 720p and ur not sacrificing that much of graphic and gaining the extra fps

Its a good improvement over the Ally but I am still using my SD atm and this is like a Ally 1.5 and not being OLED is what keeps me out of this purchase. Should have made it OLED Asus 😢

I have a ROG Ally Z1 that I got for free and I love the thing. But there’s no way in hell I’m paying that price for a handheld even one as awesome as this thing. Now the $499 for the regular one? For sure that’s reasonable. But I use my as a… real handheld. I’m not trying to play my newest games on it that’s what the console and PC is for. People gotta get back to having their devices for specific purposes cuz buying a $900 handheld, a $1000 PC, a $1000 phone… at some point it’s just not all worth it if their purposes are overlapping

reason why i got legion go is it could turn into windows tablet. pretty versatile due to removeable controller turns into mouse.
