No. Voldemort would not have won. Dumbledore had Fawkes there since the Killing curse is unblockable. Having defenses to be prepared for something doesn't mean the enemy would've won. Fawkes is there for that and didn't pop up out of nowhere.

Fawkes was part of the strategy. If he hadn't been there, Dumbledore would've adjusted accordingly.

no..he would not have and should have lost. dumbldore being as old as he is he is he is experienced and having taught voldemort he knows his style. in the books he wasnt trying not so much to beat him as we all know why but trying to protect harry with the statues and yes his back was turned...you dont think he didnt know he was there? where else would he be if he is not infront of him? the only thing if harry didnt keep trying to get in the way dumbledore would have been able to end the duel even before the ministry got i dont think he was even in a hurry to win. he was deff taking his time as he wanted the ministry to get there and see voldemort really is back

Dumbledore actually brought Fawkes with him for that exact reason. He knew Voldemort was gonna try something like that and a Phoenix literally can’t be killed permanently. They always come back

I wish Voldemort would've won it would've made him feels so much more threatening/ scary. To think that the only reason doubledore was able to fight him off was due to something like the elder wand. But nope Dumbledore completely bodies Voldemort the book makes it very clear that Voldemort lost and Dumbledore was the Superior wizard the books also states that Dumbledore wasn't trying to kill Voldemort since there were other horcruxes out there. Also his Phoenix was a tool he used in battle it didn't just happen to save him he depended on it too it was planned. As much as I'd like Voldemort to win he doesn't and movie depicted this sene really well if you ask me. Voldemort was terrifyingly powerful but Dumbledore didn't flinch
