I still don’t think any anime adaptation will fully be able to capture Junji Ito’s art style, but this comes so close to it that I can’t help but applaud it. While some frames can come off less detailed, it makes up for it with eerie unnerving movements conveyed brilliantly through rotoscoped animation. The soft fluidity of the movements mixed with more rigid moments creates such a disturbing effect where you truly feel like you’re looking at something that is no longer human.

Only the first episode was like this but when the other episodes came it was like "Sorry we only had a budget to make the first episode legit" but it's still a good anime and manga

This anime is one of the most beautiful ones ive seen in quite some time. It had some of its moments translated perfectly. My only issue unfortunately and its a big one is how badly paced it is so far. Was hoping to have it be a little slower to enjoy the story a bit more but it felt like they were rushed. Ik its probably not the studios fault they probably had a deadline it just sucks. Overrall im pretty happy with it still.
