My First DoorDash Walmart Grocery Delivery - Walmart Home Grocery Delivery

I often get asked, "Does DoorDash deliver for Walmart?" and the simple answer is, "Yes". After orders have been picked by Walmart's personal shoppers, a DoorDash “Dasher” retrieves the order from a Walmart store and delivers it right to the customer during their specified delivery window. Groceries can be delivered to customers as soon as the same day.

This was my first day delivering Walmart groceries and wasn't sure how it was going to go. Walmart Same Day Delivery is a great option for customers and for Dashers if they want to earn their pay. For customers, the convenience of shopping delivered to your door feature, is quite nice and hassle free but DoorDash drivers need to be prepared for these orders. I was not prepared and didn't have the right equipment like Plastic Storage Bins or Ice Coolers to store the food. What if I had a huge order that had to be delivered to multiple floors? Do you have a hand truck/dolly ready to go? I sure didn't!

3 to 10 50 lb package water bottles up 3 flights of stairs. Got $7.50 for that run

I did 2 the first one wasn’t that bad but the second one I did was for like 4 different people I only do the single or a couple item in store pickup now it’s a lot easier

I quit doing Wal-Mart orders. I had a walmart grocery that filled my truck. It took me 45 minutes to get the groceries up tyo the 3rd floor apt. Never again.

Every morning I get a stacked Walmart order to start my day. Takes about 35 minutes and I average 27 dollars. Not bad. At the start of the month I’ll get 5-10 a day and can make over 200 a day just doing Walmart. But I also have the benefit of living 500 feet away from one

$6.75 per delivery in my area and hardly any tips. The only thing good about Walmart orders is you get a bunch of them at once.

Sometimes i get 10 walmart orders in a row. Never accepted a walmart ever im at 1500 deliveries

DoorDash needs to do something about those Walmart orders, they are usually trash and I have to decline 20 in a row everyday.

Walmart is on my blacklist. First delivery was to a hotel. Funny thing was the guest hasn't arrived to the hotel yet. So I had to enter her room and stock up the kitchen for her. Also not realizing that I had to collect a signature, I stood there like an idiot figuring out what to do. In the end, the front desk clerk who helped me stock up her room decided to sign it. Second and final Walmart order I did. I was sitting nearly an hour outside the person's house because I needed to collect the signature. They refused to open the door, I tried to contact them telling them they needed to sign their payment no answers until finally a girl opened the door nearly an hour later. Knowing the vibe of Walmart and knowing the types of people that shop at Walmart, I decided to never go to any Walmart ever again both as a driver and a customer. Edit: If you're wonder if I was tipped by either order, lol nope.

i have had several door dash deliveries from wally world in the past.. what a fiasco up front i want to state that the folks doing the deliveries are good people and are not the culprits or the root of the problem ... they pick up the order from wally world and they NEVER have been given a address so they must call for a address and directions which usually involves some time... i live in a slightly rural development that is new... the gps and maps are not showing the location of the residence... so more directions involved... finally the order gets delivered by a frustrated driver... i would be frustrated too.. after this scenrario repeated itself i just quit using wally world and went to the competition... i will go back to walmart if they ever start using fedex/ups again as the orders used to come straight from a distirbution center and not a store... i felt sorry for the drivers and made the extended dive worth their while at a added expense to me that was not necessary prior to door douche ...

I hate Walmart orders too. I just won't accept them. I did my first Safeway shop and deliver today. What a fiasco. Everything went great until check out...then the app wouldn't let me go past the loyalty points screen. I just couldn't get the screen to scroll to check all the boxes so I could tap 'proceed to pay'. I was able to somehow pay but I couldn't move on to the customer address screen. I had to have support do that and it happened TWICE! I'm done with Safeway orders. Have you done em and if so please do a video so I can see the process. Thanks in advance!!!
