Dental and Vision insurance is important. If you have chosen Medicare Advantage, most plans include limited Dental and Vision coverage ($750-$1000 annual maximum benefit). If you are on Original Medicare and have a supplement, Vision and Dental are not covered (Medicare will pay for cataract surgery, detached retina,...etc). This video talks about private insurance options for Vision and Dental for people with Medicare. We are licensed in all 50 states and D.C. and we serve clients by phone and Zoom.

I loved this video. First of all $400 for your eye exam and the glasses you wanted, well I will take that any day of the week. I am still working and have BCBS. My out of pocket last year for my glasses and eye exam was $600 and that was with the insurance we have. My Dental plan pays a 100% on the preventive, but on a crown I got about 3 years ago it was about $800 my cost. they only pay 50%. The plan you offer that has a $5, 000 max I think is awesome. I actually never knew we could plans to choose from when it comes to Dental and Vision. This is great news as I would want the best plans available. Great job explaining, thanks.

I’ve confirmed a lot of what learned over the years by watching Hans’s videos. I believe he truly wants to help people. Thank you Hans! I did contact contact them for an insurance quote and I never was able to get the quote. I think they want you to get their financial planning service, which was affordable, but they “dropped “ me before I got to that point..

I have an Aetna Advantage plan that has what you pointed out, just a small add-on to my medical plan that covers $1, 200 this year($1, 000 last year), and seems to cover whatever is done but at that $1, 200 it will be done. What sucks is I have cancer and vomit a lot and used to vomit daily for a couple years and it damaged I think all my molars. I think they are all crowns now and only 2 not root canal’d . One was extracted. I barely have any tooth left on one molar to cement one of the crowns to that keeps coming loose every 5-6 months. I need that tooth/crown. Without it I’ll have no molars on the top right. Can’t afford implants or whatever solution other than repeatedly having it cemented back in.
The rest of my teeth are fine. But man it’s caused a lot of trouble with molars. I feel like since the puking from cancer treatment causes(d) all the vomiting and the acids damaged my back teeth. Medical should cover it.

Vision only gives me like $200 toward anything related to exams, glasses, contacts… it’s something but doesn’t help much.

Overall I love my Aetna Advantage PPO plan.

As usual, great content but for some reason I struggled watching this particular video due to blurred screen resolution. Maybe it's just me, but your other videos come out crystal clear! Perhaps the bandwidth when you gentlemen start sharing screens/connections ???

Can my HSA pay the premium on the dental and vision insurance? Barring ill health in the near term, I will have a significant amount of money in our HSA accounts within the next 4 years. I don't plan on retiring for another 9 years, I'd like to have as much as $50K+ in our accounts.
