How To Perform A Dead Bug

Показать описание
In this video Kiefer goes over how to perform the Dead Bug.
The dead bug is a great movement that requires coordinated, reciprocal patterns with anterior core stability. The combination of limb movement with trunk stability has great carryover to strength training and athletic movements and is a solid addition to any training program. Additionally, dead bugs can be a nice starting point for training trunk stability because of the feedback you get from the ground regarding maintaining a consistent core position
Key points:
1️⃣Set up with arms and upper legs vertical and a neutral trunk position, lightly pressing your low back into the ground
2️⃣Reach one arm and the opposite side leg towards the ground
3️⃣Goal is to get your arm and leg to the ground without excessive trunk extension or rotation
