As a chef you turn the heat off and cover the pan with a lid you don’t ever lift it across the kitchen and pour water on it especially if it contains oil

Any Good Chef knows never put Water on Burning Oil, Cover it with a DAMP CLOTH… I would have SACKED HIM IMMEDIATELY NO WAY HAVE THEY PASSED A KITCHEN SAFTY COURSE……

I once while working in a pub had finished work and walked out to vape with a few of my colleagues and all of a sudden the fire alarm starts beeping so we all went in ready to help evacuate people but it turns out as I breathed out the vape smoke as the door closed some got in and set it off lol 😂

This chef does not know what he is doing WTF putting water on a pan, that should have been covered by a fire blanket or a damp cloth, then reported immediately to the Capt as an incident.
