It’s the size the Daytona should have been. At retail the Rolex precious metal Professional sports models are the best relative value: 100m+ water resistant and although there’s probably around £5K Gold in a GMT-Master II or Submariner 221g or whatever this weighs slightly more: You’re getting much more Gold and much more cheaply than Patek Philippe which are mass produced. New factory just opened and will be churning out approaching 100K watches-per-year up from 65K. ALS is 5K and Chopard 4.5K. AP 55K probably 60K now. Get a full Good bracelet and Easylink tool-free add or remove equivalent of 1 link clasp: better than solid piece of thick steel across the entirety of the underside of your wrist with Glidelock although probably getting more Gold in it. Also get solid Gold caseback in Rolex. Not sapphire Crystal exhibition caseback like PP. is Eric too sophisticated now for a Yacht Master II? The stainless steel version at MSRP is Rolex’s most expensive steel watch: more expensive than a Rolesor two tone Sky Dweller.

It's actually my favorite Rolex for some reason, I've always been fascinated with this model. This and the Datejust with sundust dial, or the indo-arabic numareals + smooth bezel
