Going vegan is a big step to take, especially if you are a meat lover. You may be making the dietary change for various reasons. It could be because you watched a life-changing documentary or it could be for health reasons.

Whatever the reason that has led you to become a vegan, it’s safe to say that there will be some growing pains and temptations that come with this new diet. Weddings might be tough, especially if you have to watch everyone else chow down on a juicy tenderloin steak while you are stuck with the quinoa patty.

Your body will go through some changes as well, but once you get past these obstacles and changes it should be smooth sailing. This is what happens to your body when you go vegan.

I feel like it is impossible to not get enough protein on a plant based diet. I don't even try to get protein and I still go over my daily need most times. I'm so glad I went vegan though, not just to help the world but because I'm losing weight effortlessly. I've never been able to do that.

it's very, very, very easy to get enough protein no matter what your diet consists of. don't worry about that. but do consider vitamin B12 and D. at least vitamin D if you live in a colder climate. where i live (in norway) people eat a lot of fish and such, but still over 50% of the population has a vitamin D deficiency, so it's not just a vegan concern, neither is a vitamin B12 deficiency

The "facts" are so so inaccurate, please do more research! You would literally have to stop eating food to not get any protein. And going vegan doesn't mean you start eating nothing but veggies, there is vegan junk food and it's really really good.

Pretty sure I recover better on a vegan diet without taking protein shakes and my senses of taste is doing fine without zinc supplements lol

I am happy that this video did not totally bash vegans. ALSO ALL VEGANS EAT NUTRITIONAL YEAST! IT NATURALLY CONTAINS B12 AND MANY OTHER ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS

yes the protein and the taste ones were basically lies.. however I still like that this video was mostly positive about going vegan and a couple of it's advantages. so yay to this despite the flaws :)

I wish there were more videos out there about the not so nice stuff that happens to you when you go vegan. I experienced all of the above and was dizzy all the time and nearly fainted on many occasions. If we want to transition, and know what to expect, then it will help people to stay with it and not think that they are having bad reactions to it. also, everyone's body process things differently. Remember that. We all look different on the outside so why wouldnt the way our insides work be different?

I went vegan for a month but had to go to a family dinner and I was forced to eat meat but it felt like when it I went vegan it like cleansed and refreshes my body in a way. Definitely going vegan though again.

I’ve noticed that digestion is so much more efficient now that I’m vegan. I used to have digestive issues but I’ve been vegan for about 6 months and I everything works like a charm now. 😁
