I personally think Mergo's theme is unique and very memorable. What I will say is that for what's teeeechnically a final boss, she's way too easy. I've never died to her in all my playthroughs.

Since WHEN does nobody like Laurence? Him being on fire adds so much to the fight and visual of the Cleric Beast, and it’s very purposeful since he was literally the first cleric beast. And honestly his fight is just so memorable, never saw anyone complaining about it besides the usual “it’s hard”.

I love mergo's wet nurse theme. Thematically it's one of the best in the game and it's used early on as a song of calming. Like you hear it in yharnam before even getting to cleric beast.

The fact that Mergo's wetnurse is not an action-packed theme does not make it boring. On the contrary, it's by far one of the most interesting boss themes in the series. You want boring? What does the Shadows of Yharnam boss theme sound like? I bet you can't remember.
