As someone who took latin i measure how much I remember by whether i can still translate Bloodborne lyrics on sight. “Draw this blood of god from the children [born] of nothing” refers to how the LF are glorified bloodpacks for the healing church and ‘nurses’ of the clocktower. They failed at ascending to godhood and instead can only house and preserve the blood of great ones for reuse, born of and amounting to nothing of worth. It also likely is a reference to the orphan who was never actually born, who shares the same blood in true.
