That last story the mother and the teen both need to be put in prison. The guy's life could have been utterly destroyed. A "good Samaritan" could have attacked him. I'm so angry. What an awful awful awful human being those women are.

I'm surprised OP in the last story didn't also think to check the security cameras, but the fact that he stitched his name on both his wallet and jacket definitely saved him for sure

The last story makes me sick to my stomach. Sure, as a female I'm fully aware of the double standard due to my gender, but it still pisses me off to see men get treated like that. No man or woman should fear being treated as guilty till proven innocent just because of the genitalia they're born with!

The mother and daughter in last story should get prison time. Seriously, accusing the guy of rape is soo wrong and hurts actual victims of rape....

There needs to be harsher punishments for false accusations. I'm sure what they get is a less than slap on the wrist compared to what OP would put through if he were convicted of what they accuse him of. They tried to ruin this guy's life just to steal a jacket.

Story 2: Man, you can smell the desperation coming from the dad. He needs to learn that things are changing and OP is no longer under their roof anymore. Soon, the siblings will be old enough to leave, and maybe THEN the dad will learn.

Imagine almost getting a guy arrested and possibly ruin his life just because he said no to letting your crotch goblin try on his jacket smh

The last story makes me so angry. As someone who survived being SA, situations like these make it much harder to be believed. The girl should have been charged for false aligations. To OP I am so sorry.

The third story definitely annoys me. I have a denim jacket that my mom gave that I absolutely love. I have all kinds of enamel pins and pinback buttons on it that I love, and I have plans to sew patches on to it soon. Don't mess with other people's special jackets, please

Edit: geez, just finished listening to that whole story, and it just makes me mad. Some people are just human garbage. I can't believe they falsely accused OP like that over a JACKET. More than that, a jacket that was very clearly incredibly important to him.

as a victim of multiple sexual assaults (4 i remember, at least, 3 before the age of 10), accusing someone of it for your own benefit is horrible and disgusting. people who take legitimate, horrific trauma that i don't think i will EVER heal from for? what? a jacket?
i have never wanted to wring a person's neck that intensely before
(edited only bc i missed a word lsdkjfl)

last story
evil false rape accuser: "officer he tried to rape me in the middle of mcdonalds and somehow the 20 or so other people in there missed it, he also stole my boyfriends jacket after he raped me and then sat down to eat a sandwich"
police officer: "sounds believable" *cuffs OP and takes him to the squad car without taking a statement*

OP needs to sue the crap out of the mother and daughter and then make a complaint against the officers, they are terrible at their job and aren't worthy of the badge, you do not assume guilt from an accusation you take the statement of both people for fuck sake.

Ugh! That last story pissed me off to where they must wanna be what's called "boy who cried wolf" yet end up getting served cold. Don't accuse someone of rape just because someone refused to give something to you. The damn nerve of teenagers nowadays.

That last story was intense. Why did no one think to check cameras to prove that he was telling the truth? Because honestly, it's ridiculous to think that had he not had that name on his jacket they would of believed the mother and daughters words over OPs. Grr entitled people suck

I hate that we live in an age where folks are automatically guilty until proven innocent in a country that was supposed to be the exact opposite.

I fully believe that women who make false allegations like in the last story should face time equal to what the guy would have if charged as guilty

First Story: Now I know why MIL's children didn’t want to take her in, this woman is hell lol! OP you should have called the police to get her ass kicked of your home.

That last story makes my blood boil. I still remember the story of Brian Banks. Knowingly falsifying such an accusation should be punishable as if the crime was actually committed.

The last story makes my heart hurt. And the worst part, that mom and daughter probably won’t change their actions because they are already “delusional-entitled”. A false accusation like theirs can ruin people’s lives. Barf.

If there's anything I've relearned from parenting is that when you have kids, you're supposed to raise them to become their own person. Not keep them as a slave for your own benefit like some parents do. OP did an amazing job keeping their boundaries. So much respect to OP and I hope they do well in life after their parents failed him.

A story from a friend of a friend from years back. I never met this friend of a friend but from what I was told her grandmother was a master seamstress and actually knitted a waterproof jacket for her (Have no idea how or with what materials) Another girl was jealous and pushed the girl over and kicked her. Then stole the jacket and ran off (they were both around 16). Her friends ran to a pay phone, before mobile/cell phones about the early to mid 90's and called the police. The thief was apprehended and claimed the jacket was hers. Well the friend of a friend then told the cops that her grandmother had stitched her full name under the collar at the back of the coat near the neck. The thief was arrested for assault and theft. When the thief got out of juvenile detention, a year later, she actually went looking for the friend of a friend and tried to stab her. She was then arrested for attempted murder and sent to prison for about 5 years. Never heard of her again.
