You know you've REALLY fucked up when your own dealer is calling the cops on your ass!

I love how many of them admitted they stopped selling because they saw how their "buisness" was killing kids, not because the kids are buying drugs, but because their parents are buying nothing except drugs

People selling their babies and little kids for drugs is probably the most evil thing you can do without committing an atrocity by your own hand. People who want to hurt children are evil, but families who give them their children to hurt, incomprehensible.

Smoking inside the car with another person, especially a child, is unacceptable.

You might want to pause between the horrific child abuse and the chirpy "Hey we have a discord." That was unsettling.

Not a seller. There was a woman who used to walk up and down our block with her young daughter. She was into some hard drugs and would be strung out walking in and out of businesses asking to use the bathrooms (to take a hit or whatever as soon as she got her stuff from the dealer).
Her daughter was a cute and small thing unfortunately stuck wearing a big pink coat and boots...in the summer in the south because that was all that she had.
The neighborhood looked out for the little girl giving her food and stuff while calling out her mom who never got defensive or angry but couldn't get herself together for her daughter

Finally the couple known for fostering was able to get the CPS worker they deal with to look into it. They went around the neighborhood asking everyone if they would testify to what they had witnessed should the case worker need statements.

Although they just wanted to help the little girl the case workers called on them to foster her.

I think they adopted her. It's great remembering the day they brought her around looking so much better and recounting the late night call for her placement. I saw her again a few years ago now a tall and skinny tween playing with her foster brothers but so happy and loved.

Idk what happened to her mom. I'd like to believe she willingly signed away her rights. But the emergency placement and her always dressing her in long clothes make me fear they were terminated. Again I don't know and kinda hope to never know.

The mother of my twin children, who took her own life several years ago, was a heroin addict.

she started using after the twins were born, and i didnt find out, until they were 6 months old, when the landlady called me to say she had called 911, and my ex was convulsing on the floor, with her arm tied off.

A local guy i was chatty with, who was a member of a gang, was watching my kids when i got back to the apartment, along with my landlady. First thing he said to me was "Wasnt none of our guys who sold it to her."

after 7 years of custody battles, i gained permanent full custody of my twins.

Because their mother committed suicide in rehab.

for 7 years, despite numerous drug related issues, and even two separate attempts to harm the twins during supervised visits, the courts still fought with my on revoking her parental rights.

I wonder if any of the children rescued by drug dealers (via proper channels) ever found out about the dealer getting them out of their situation?

Dealers can be just as bad. I bought weed from a girl who had 5 kids and had custody of only 2. She smoked it in front of her kids, sold it in front of her kids, talked about it in front of her kids. Which with weed, okay, whatever. But I knew for a fact that was a recovering heroine addict and between the weed in front of her kids, and knowing she probably did hard shit in front of them too, I ended up finding a dealer who was a married couple with no kids.

you’ve hit a really low point if a dealer drops their drugs to call the cops on you

As a child of two addicts this is very comforting to know there are people out there with real morals

So, moral of the story, never sell to people with children. Or at the very least have an anonymous CPS line on speed dial.

i noticed how most of the kids in these stories were very young, like babies or toddlers. just goes to show that the parents are so neglectful that their kids don't even survive to age 10

I think it's not so much trust as in they wouldn't expect a dealer to care, much less report them since the dealers are doing illegal activities themselves.

Thank you for saying this! You may have no idea how profound this actually is...

I used to sell heroin and crack, this lady who was a client of mine, already lost her kids to CPS, went to a program, got sober for a while, then as soon as she got her kids back relapsed… one day she was buying off me and mentioned all of it to me, she was still in a program asking me for a bag of heroin on credit to get her through… sold to her for the last time and blocked her number
She never got clean and lost the two kids, I still wonder how they’re doing

Back before pot was legal my dealer would only sell me pot because he knew I had a kid (not that i asked for anything else). He was a good dealer.

As a former alcoholic I don't even let my son see me drunk.
