Great tutorial, BUT, what about the file name itself - that is what most of us search on - How to find files with "(1)" in them? it seems to render any of the fonts.

Thanks for video the problem i am having is when searching for a file in a folder by inputting first three letters of name for instance it does not find it even though file is there ? and it shows a group like a-j k-p etc hope this makes sense

on my computer, the title "How to Search for Files and Folders on Windows 10" covers up part of the Windows ribbon, making it more difficult to follow what is happening on the top ribbon. HOw can I change that on the video?

My Win 10 won't boot nor will it repair. My srt log shows that is corrupt, so I wanted to rename it to klelam.sys.bak. I booted to the same install USB as I used to previously install Win 10/2004, & from cmd, opened notepad (save as/all files) so I could navigate to that directory, but the file is not there?

How do I perform a file search from within the installer session? I want to find that file!

The "date calendar" does not typically show up by default. In this case, you must type datemodified: (don't forget the colon) into the Search Box. You should mention this important fact because many Windows users are totally confused because the "date calendar" simply does not appear in the upper ribbon.

I've come to dislike Windows 10 more and more. Using an external hard drive, the "search" feature will not find anything unless it is indexed, or unless I type specific commands. I can see the file name, yet it will not find it. In order to locate it I have to time in one of the words in the file name. For instance I have a file named "Friends Addresses.xlsx". To find the file on the external hdd I must type "Name:Addresses" then most times it will find the file, but not all times. Or, I must time in "Type:.xlsx" to find a list of the Excel files in the folder. I find the search feature in Windows 10 has lost quality compared to Windows 7.
