I think this is why several years back in the U.S. men who were medicated for years and then taken off meds thinking they should’ve grown out of the hyperactivity by their early twenties ended up self medicating with stimulants like meth.

My coworker double dipped his vivance all the time and recently got off them, he’s still really organized which isn’t heard of from him off his meds and has things goin in proper order, I think he’s doing pretty well for himself and in a much clearer space

Hi Rachelle. In this case, would it be recommended to check with your psychiatrist to have periods off the meds? Does this bring back some of those receptors, or are they lost to long time users?
