The fact that she's over 100 and still doesn't know who she is brings me a sort of comfort. Starting over again at 39, living alone for the first time, and I have no idea who I am. This makes me think that's okay though

I am in my fifties and the one thing I will tell my younger self are this few things:
1. Your childhood was never ever your fault.
2. Not all people have good hearts, Don’t give your trust away.
3. Material things don’t last. Invest your money and time on things that can not be touched, bought or stolen.
3. Look where he/she spends his/her money and time, you will find his/her heart there.
4. Time is cruel and does not discriminate.
5. Never wish ANY evil thing, on anyone…. You will get what you give. This one it’s SO important.
6. Words can hurt more than you’ll ever know, use words wisely.

“I don’t know who that is. I know who she pretends to be” hits hard and hits home. What a beautiful woman.

“I have been so many women, so many times .”

Absolutely incredible. Imagine everything she has seen in her time. Every disease/catastrophe a human can experience she can say, “I survived it all!”

At 57, already having worn so many hats, already have started life over several times, this hits hard. And it's what I needed to hear. I am Robin.

If she had not said so I would never have thought in a million years she was 101. She is so clear minded and eloquently telling her experiences. Just beautiful and blessed 💜

If I'm going to live as long as she has, i wish i would be able to articulate my words just like she did in this interview. She's a beautiful human.

In about 1970, I sat on a park bench as a child next to an older woman. I asked her, "If you had to live life all over, what would you do she told me she'd never marry or have children. I understand she lived at a different time, but the sadness in her eyes of a life she never got to live left its mark on me. ❤

For being 100, and still having your mind intact is truly marvelous!

She never says a single “ummm” or “ahhh” while thinking of her responses. It’s truly impressive. It’s like she’s so comfortable with who she is (even if she doesn’t quite know, I know I sure don’t ab myself), that she can take real pauses without feeling awkward ab it

"They'll never know who I am but I hope they'll remember me". That hit hard.

I love the cadence of her speech pattern. It pulls you in and makes you anxious to hear the next word.

Whoever had the foresight to capture this. THANK YOU. It's never too late to be whoever you want to be.

"I wanted to be a Betty who sang. I didn't want to be a singer." that part really hit me. Bless this woman for sharing her words & her journey of life with us. 💗

All this time I thought there was something wrong with me, when in fact, I was being “ Betty”🦋

Ive often second guessed myself with being content with not being married. My friends always try to set me up on dates. But I look at their sad relationships and lives and wonder, why would you want that for me?

I was at the edge where I felt that this is it, can't take it any more, but when I heard her today, she gave me a reason to get going. This has comforted me.
