Dear Dr. Greger,

Are you taking care yourself?
- Are you sleeping enough ?
- Are you eating enough ?
- Are you resting enough ?

Your skin color looks pale to me.

However, regardless if your skin color is pale or not, or due to the room's lighting or not, PLEASE:
- Do not overwork
- Do not neglect yourself
- Slow down a bit and take a rest

I want you to be healthy and happy for your own good and for our own good.

A big admirer of your work, your site and your two books because you have greatly improved my health and life

Best Regards

Thanks so much. You have given me the evidence based tools to teach the other faculty and residents I teach. I’m a family doc in NYC taking care of a homeless and uninsured population and trying to help them go plant based. Not easy! Vegan for over a year and really happy. Xo

For the first time in my life I think I’m falling for a self proclaimed geek. Dr Greger, if your interested in a beautiful 5’9” sexy, “health nut” lifelong vegan 98% greenlight food 2% orange, who is highly spiritual, intuitive insightful and loves to laugh and have fun, you may be the man for me.
I so appreciate the work you do as I am committed to the same on a more grass roots level. Just gave a copy of “how not to die” to my N.Y. cardiologist. Will be bringing another copy to my dear friend Julia a N.Y. gynecologist and my rabbi who was on deaths door just a few short years ago.
Much love,
Keep up the amazing work, so moved by all you do!

Does tableside mustard, rather than powdered mustard seeds, work for boosting cruciferous sulforaphane content too?

I was excited someone asked about calcium fortified plant milk, but I was disappointed my concern about it wasn't mentioned which is might it be harmful to arterial function in the same way calcium supplements are if you drink enough of the plant milk or it has a lot of calcium added and you end up drinking a substantial amount. And from higher quality plant milks, closer to the kind you'd make at home (no additives, more nuts/legumes and less fillers) there's actually substantial calcium per serving without any fortification. I'm also concerned about the palmitate (derived from palm oil) added to many plant milks for moral/ethical and sustainability reasons as well as serious health concerns.
Also I'd have to say with the fruit loops thing, I personally think it all counts and matters in regards to what type of milk you're putting on them. Yes, they're a complete junk food... horrible for you, but why not avoid adding insult to injury by at least not adding extra dairy to the mix. Plus, at least you'd be getting SOMETHING decent in the meal which might be some antioxidants, the benefits of soy, etc.

I love how you give so much to help society. You are my favorite person I've yet to meet....well, you might be tied with Bernie Sanders;)

Re shampoo, like Dr Greger mentioned in the tooth paste video, SLS is an irritant and some people get sores from it. I wash my hair with pure castile soap, it foams less and is more difficult to rinse out, but it works fine and I enjoy not having a scalp covered in scabs and bleeding cracks.

Dr. Greger, I have a high level of respect for your opinions. What do you think of the suggestions in the book "The End of Alzheimer's" by Dr. Dale E. Breseden? For example, ReCODE The Basic Plan? And, the suggestions for mild ketosis; 'green'-'yellow'-'red' food lists? Further, the supplements suggested by Dr. Breseden? I am also interested in any other thoughts you may have in regard to the research upon which this book is based and any other commentary you may have.

I noticed that Whole Foods canned beans are bpa free, while Trader Joe’s cans are probably not (no info on the can). Both cost the same 99c/can. Also, I found only one brand that makes carrageenan free vegan omega. And it’s by Vested Naturals (sold on Amazon).
