Windows 11 July 2024 update (KB5040527) - new features and changes

The KB5040527 update for Windows 11 versions 23H2 and 22H2 (build 22631.3958 and 22621.3958 - and build 22631.3951 and 22621.3951 for Release Preview) brings some new quality of life (QoL) features and improvements. Here's a video showing these off in 2 minutes.
File Explorer now includes an option to duplicate a tab* and you can now drag apps from the pinned section of the Start menu to the taskbar to quickly pin them*. The End Task on taskbar feature has updated logic which means it no longer requires confirmation to end a process* and there is a good set of bugfixes.
*Gradually rolling out, not all users will have the features initially. To get them as soon as possible, turn on Get the latest updates as soon as they're available in Windows Update settings.
