How To Fix The Black Screen On Twitch

I made this video when I was having issues with Twitch Black screen and finally figured it out after a couple of days and decided to make a video on it.

Also not covered in this video: If the above video doesnt work...Try updating your flash player or checking your web browser settings on your browser to make sure your flash player isn't blocked.

IF YOU ARE IN MOBILE (my phone is an iPhone) AND WHEN YOU TRY TO WATCH A STREAM ON TWITCH IF THE STREAM IS GOING BLACK AND PLAY BUTTON IS DISAPPEARING AND APPEARING OVER AND OVER WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS :

1_ GO TO TWITCH AND OPEN A RANDOM STREAM

2_ GO TO THE SETTING IN THE STREAM (NOT TWITCH SETTING THE STREAM SETTING, LIKE WHERE YOU CHANGE THE QUALITY etc.)

3_ GO DOWN AND SELECT ‘AUDIO ONLY’

4_ THEN GO TO THE SETTINGS AGAIN AND SELECT A RESOLUTION (I THINK IT WORKS ON ALL BUT I PRESSED THE SOURCE ONE)

Thats how it worked for me. I hope It helped. If it didn’t I’m sorry, looks like you got a different problem (probably with your internet or something). When ever I press the resolution ‘Auto’ this keep happening, I absolutely don’t have any idea why. But this solution always works for me.

Edit: I went to the AppStore and updated Twitch now it’s fixed

Hey, I try to watch a Stream yesterday on twich but wend I try to go on Desktop Mode it stay on Loading, can you please tell me how to fix the problem?

Idk if it would work for me bc when i go live the screen is fine but my cousin watches my streams and he says he cant see anything that the screen is black so i made a new acc and he wasent lying so idk if this will help

Does it matter what browser you are using? I'm using Microsoft Edge and I get a black loading screen. When I use Google chrome the streams load up just fine...

I am actually *very* surprised because it did work for me. I started getting black screens a few moments ago and I could not figure out why(worked fine in firefox, but not in chrome).
