Galaxy Z Flip: How to FIX Black Screen of Death

In this video tutorial I show you how to fix a black screen on a Samsung Galaxy Z 'Flip. Even though there is a black screen you still may be able to hear it ring, beeps for notification or vibrate. I give you several solutions to get you up and running and by the end of the video most of you should be back up and running. Note that if none of the solutions worked then try each step 5 or 6 more times.

DO NOT TRY THE SPAM POWER BUTTON 30 TIMES THING!! IT LED MY PHONE TO ACCIDENTALLY CALL THE POLICE. There should be at least some kind of warning to that in this video, because dang that nearly gave me a heart attack!!

You are a life saver. You helped me to wake up my phone again. The forced reboot worked...i have been so troubled all day. I literally just got back from samsung UK store in stratford and they couldn't fix it even though the problem started from them, when i went to evaluate my Z Flip 3 for a trade in 2days ago... after the diagnostic check, the phone started having black outs...this phone has never add problems before. many thanks

My screen is still black. It vibrates every time I do the forced reset instead of showing me the samsung logo. I actually just got it last week too.

I know it works but this should not have happened in the first place. it means that the quality of this phone is not great.

I did as you said and it worked. thank you thank you so much. I was going crazy all day at work. My phone continued going black, I could turn it on, but it would only stay on when I had my finger on it. I truly hope it continues to stay on. Thanks again your a life saver.
