I haven't crocheted in about 50 years, since I was a teenager. I just recently re-taught myself how to knit and knitted my grandson a blanket. I wanted to put a border on it. I saw this video, bought myself some crochet hooks. I thought I no longer had dexterity in my hands to crochet but I crocheted this border on my grandson's blanket. It was beautiful. You are so easy to follow. I've saved many of your videos to my phone. You have a new folower! Thank you!

I started how to crochet at 60, you tube crochet tutorials help me a lot, though my hands work very very slow crocheting, I am enjoying it. Hope I can finish something 😊.

Just love your tutorial. You give me confidence when I know how to do this

This looks so good with the first crochet row underneath the shells - much prettier than just doing the shells straight into the garment. Thank you c

My setup row of SC around my blanket is laying well - no ruffling or pulling. But when i started doing the shells, i see a slight ruffle. How can i have them lay flat but not too far apart?

You didn't tell how to do the corner? No one else said anything. Am I being dense?

Thank you so much! This is just the look I wanted to finish off a baby blanket. I couldn't remember how to do it.

Thank you! Very easy to follow. I'm wondering if this will work on a baby blanket that has a scalloped edge? The blanket pattern is repeating rows of fans, so the top is scalloped.
