To use this stitch as a border of a blanket you have to first do a single crochet border around all sides, putting 2 or 3 SCs in every corner. Once that is done, follow the steps in the video.

This is very easy and beautiful! I sized my hook down from what I had used for my blanket and it worked perfectly.
