Varieties of Potatoes I will Plant in 2023 | Traditions of Growing Potatoes in Belarus

Potatoes were among the last things I would think of when I started every season. We are so used to our customs and ways that don't see how much space our old traditions occupy.
This season I decided to put potatoes into the list of my priorities and find the best way of growing it in accordance with the climate of my region and my needs and goals.

Good luck with your potatoes! If I remember correctly, my grandfather in France used to cultivate the “Belle de Fontenay”, which is really lovely for sauteed potatoes, and the Bintje, for purées (and they work well for French fries as well).

Another awesome video. Thank you. Here on my little farm in the USA, I grew Red Russet and Yukon Gold last year. I used Potato towers and regular planting last year. The local deep loved my grown planted potatoes last year and they eat them all. I put anti-deer soap around the potato towers, and they were fine. I will send you some photos. Have a great day.
